This Legal Notice supplements our Terms of Service, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy. All four together govern your use of the AURÉA website and products. If anything in this Legal Notice conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevail.

1. Medical disclaimer (please read carefully)

The AURÉA Glow Mask is a consumer skincare device — it is NOT a medical device and is NOT intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or mitigate any disease, condition, or medical issue, including but not limited to acne, melasma, hyperpigmentation, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, or any other dermatological or medical condition.

AURÉA has not been evaluated or cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The product is certified to FCC, CE, RoHS, and UL safety standards — these certifications relate to electrical safety and materials compliance, not medical efficacy.

Always consult a licensed dermatologist or physician before beginning any new skincare regimen, especially if you:

  • Have a diagnosed skin condition
  • Are pregnant or nursing
  • Are taking photosensitizing medications (including certain antibiotics, retinoids, or chemotherapy drugs)
  • Have a history of skin cancer or pre-cancerous lesions
  • Have epilepsy or are photosensitive
  • Have recently undergone laser treatments, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion
  • Are under 18 years of age

If you experience any irritation, burning, persistent redness, blistering, or other adverse reaction, discontinue use immediately and consult a qualified medical professional.

2. Results disclaimer

Skincare results vary significantly between individuals based on age, skin type, genetics, lifestyle, environmental factors, consistency of use, and many other variables outside of AURÉA's control. Testimonials, reviews, and example imagery on our website reflect individual experiences and are not guarantees or predictions of any specific result you will achieve.

Statements like "skin clinic results," "supports firmness," "calms breakouts," "reduces the appearance of fine lines," or similar descriptive language refer to general benefits associated with LED light therapy as a category — not guarantees that you personally will experience a specific outcome.

3. Product safety and proper use

The AURÉA Glow Mask is designed for daily home use following the instructions in the included quick-start guide and at How It Works. To use the product safely:

  • Use only on cleansed, dry skin
  • Wear the included eye shields during every session
  • Limit sessions to the recommended 10 minutes unless otherwise indicated
  • Do not use while wearing makeup, sunscreen, or active topical treatments (retinoids, exfoliating acids)
  • Do not use on broken, irritated, or recently treated skin
  • Do not share the device between users without disinfecting between sessions
  • Charge using only the included USB-C cable and a standard 5V wall adapter
  • Never submerge the controller or LED panel in water

Misuse can void your warranty and the 30-day money-back guarantee. AURÉA is not liable for damage or injury resulting from misuse, modification, or use contrary to the included instructions.

4. Pricing and promotions

All prices on https://aureaglow.us are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise noted. We reserve the right to:

  • Update pricing at any time before an order is placed
  • Discontinue promotional offers without prior notice
  • Cancel orders placed at prices that result from technical errors, typographical mistakes, or pricing-system glitches (in which case we will issue a full refund)
  • Limit purchase quantities per customer or order at our discretion

Promotional discounts are not retroactive. Orders placed before a promotion begins or after a promotion ends are not eligible for the promotional price.

5. Intellectual property

All content on https://aureaglow.us — including the AURÉA name, logo, product names, product designs, photography, video, illustrations, copywriting, layouts, and the underlying code — is the exclusive property of AURÉA or its licensors, and is protected by United States and international intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any AURÉA content
  • Use the AURÉA name, logo, or product images in marketing or commercial contexts without express written permission
  • Scrape, mirror, or systematically copy the website using automated tools
  • Resell AURÉA products through unauthorized third-party marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, etc.)

6. Third-party links and content

Our website may include links to third-party websites, services, or resources. These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. AURÉA does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, terms of service, accuracy, or availability of any third-party site or service.

7. User-submitted content

If you submit reviews, photographs, videos, social media posts (tagging or mentioning AURÉA), comments, suggestions, or any other content to us — directly through our website, via email, or on public social platforms — you grant AURÉA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display that content for marketing, customer support, and operational purposes.

You represent that you own all rights to the content you submit and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AURÉA, its officers, employees, suppliers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, loss of data, personal injury (except where prohibited by law), or any damages arising out of or relating to your use of the AURÉA Glow Mask, the website, or any related services.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid AURÉA in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater.

This Legal Notice and all related policies are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

Disputes are resolved according to Terms of Service §13 — good-faith negotiation first (30 days), then binding arbitration in Middlesex County, New Jersey under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, or small claims court as an alternative. By using this website or purchasing from AURÉA, you agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity and waive your right to participate in any class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.

11. Severability

If any provision of this Legal Notice is found unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

We may update this Legal Notice from time to time. The current version is always posted at this URL with the "Last updated" date reflecting the latest revision. Continued use of the website after the Effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Legal Notice. Material changes will be flagged via banner notice or email where reasonably possible.
