AURÉA ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit, browse, or make a purchase from https://aureaglow.us (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your information.
If anything here conflicts with our Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevail with respect to the operation of the Site; this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.
By using the Site, you acknowledge you've read this Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect personal information in three ways: directly from you, automatically when you visit the Site, and from third parties we work with.
Information you give us directly
- Order information — name, billing address, shipping address, email, phone number, and the products you order
- Payment information — credit/debit card details, billing zip code (processed by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our servers)
- Account information (if you create one) — email, password, preferences, order history
- Customer support communications — emails or messages you send us, including any photos or order details you share
- Marketing preferences — email signup, SMS opt-in (if applicable)
- Reviews and content — anything you submit to the Site or send us about your AURÉA experience
Information we collect automatically
When you visit the Site, our systems and the technologies we use (Shopify, analytics providers, advertising pixels) automatically collect:
- Device and browser information — IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers
- Usage information — pages you view, time on site, clicks, referring URL, search terms
- Cookies and similar technologies — small data files stored in your browser. See Section 6 below for details.
Information from third parties
- Payment processors — payment confirmation, fraud signals

- Fulfillment partner (Tangbuy) — order processing, shipping updates
- Advertising platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok) — audience insights, ad interaction data, conversion events
- Customer review platforms (if installed) — reviews you submit about AURÉA
2. How we use your information
We use your personal information for the following purposes:
- Fulfilling orders — processing payments, sending confirmation emails, coordinating with Tangbuy for shipping, providing tracking information, handling returns and refunds
- Customer support — responding to your inquiries, resolving issues, processing warranty claims
- Marketing communications — sending you email newsletters, promotional offers, and product updates (only with your consent; you can unsubscribe at any time)
- Targeted advertising — showing you AURÉA ads on Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google, TikTok, and other platforms based on your interactions with our Site
- Site improvement — analyzing how customers use the Site to improve product design, copy, and user experience
- Security and fraud prevention — detecting suspicious activity, preventing unauthorized access, protecting our systems and other customers
- Legal compliance — complying with tax laws, consumer protection laws, court orders, and other legal obligations
3. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Some advertising-related data sharing may qualify as a "sale" under California's CCPA — see Section 8 below for opt-out rights.
4. International data transfers
AURÉA is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the US (including the EU, UK, or other countries), your personal information will be transferred to and processed in the US, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
By using the Site or making a purchase, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to the US.
For customers in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms where required by GDPR to safeguard your data.
5. Data retention
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to:
- Fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy
- Comply with our legal, accounting, and reporting obligations (typically 7 years for transaction records under US tax law)
- Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements
When personal information is no longer needed, we securely delete it or anonymize it so it can no longer be associated with you.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and serve you targeted advertising. The specific technologies we use include:

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent the Site from functioning properly.
Do Not Track: We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. However, if you are in California, the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal will be treated as an opt-out request (see Section 8).
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal exceptions like tax records)
- Right to portability — request your data in a portable format
- Right to opt out of marketing — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email
- Right to opt out of "sale" or targeted advertising — see Section 8 (CCPA) below
- Right to withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time

8. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) rights
If you are a California resident, in addition to the rights above, you have the following rights under the CCPA:
- Right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and "sell" (as defined under CCPA)
- Right to delete personal information we hold about you
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information
- Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny you service, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service for exercising your rights

If you are visiting the Site with Global Privacy Control (GPC) enabled in your browser, we will treat that as an opt-out request for the device and browser.
9. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the rights listed in Section 7 plus:
- Right to object to processing of your personal information for marketing or based on legitimate interests
- Right to restriction of processing in certain circumstances
- Right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

10. Children's privacy
The Site and the AURÉA Glow Mask are not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16 without verified parental consent, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact marqueestudiosnj@gmail.com and we will investigate.
11. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include:
- Encryption of payment data via PCI-compliant payment processors
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our Site
- Limited access to personal information on a need-to-know basis
- Regular security reviews of our infrastructure
No security measure is perfect or impenetrable. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted online. Please do not send sensitive information (credit card numbers, account passwords) via unsecured channels like email.
12. Third-party links
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, plug-ins, and applications. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every site you visit.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. The current version is always posted at this URL with the "Last updated" date reflecting the latest revision.
Material changes (those that meaningfully affect your privacy rights) will be communicated via email or banner notice on the Site at least 30 days before taking effect, where reasonably possible.
Continued use of the Site after the Effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
